CloudOps Engineer (aka Cloud Services Administrator)

– Get involved in challenging and varied work with daily exposure to different clients and projects.
– Organize complicated processes in uncertain conditions – prioritizing, planning, and scheduling skills.
– Execute Cloud migration services to AWS or Azure.
– Maintain and develop the data network infrastructure.
– Monitor and maintain clients’ global cloud infrastructures.
– Collaborate with diverse international teams within and outside Skaylink.

– Know how to organize multiple complicated processes under uncertain conditions – prioritizing, planning, and scheduling skills.
– Be able to present solutions and advise Skaylink’s customers on pros and cons on different AWS and Azure services.
– Have proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP. Even better – be certified with AWS Certified Solutions Architect (at least Associate level), Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, or a similar certificate.
– Be able to carry out pre-migration analyses, app & infra reviews, inventory, and preparation of cloud migration plans.
– Have practical experience in cloud migrations to AWS or Azure.
– Have experience in designing secure, scalable, and reliable solutions on AWS or Azure.
– Understand how to provide Cloud services management according to the Well-Architected Framework and best practices by AWS or Azure.
– Have experience with Infra Provisioning tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Google Deployment Manager or Azure Resource Manager.
– Have experience in cloud cost & performance monitoring and optimization.

– Have past CloudOps Engineer or Cloud Administrator working experience (2+ years would be amazing!).
– Have experience with SQL and NOSQL databases administration.
– Have experience implementing AWS or Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
– Have experience with Docker container related technologies in general
– Have experience working in/with a development team using Scrum.
– Not only have fluent English but also communicate in Lithuanian or German.

– A gross salary range from 2500 Eur/month to 5000 Eur/month.
– An ability to work in our amazing offices in different locations across Europe – Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipeda, Siauliai, Panevezys, Riga, Hamburg, Essen, Paderborn, Cologne, Regensburg, Garching, Munich, Jena, Kyiv, Lviv.
